Puppy Care FAQ

We only recommend high-quality commercial puppy milk replacers, such as Esbilac or Puppy Bac. Never use cow’s milk, as it lacks the nutrients necessary for puppies.

Foster FAQ

To foster, you need to be at least 18, have a safe and clean home, and, most importantly, be ready to give a puppy your time, patience, and love. Flexibility is a must—puppies, especially the little bottle babies, need a lot of attention, but if you’ve got a nurturing heart, fostering might be perfect for you!

It’s easy! Just fill out our Foster Application Form online. Once we’ve reviewed it and done a references and background check, you’ll come to an orientation class where we’ll get you all prepped. Then, we’ll schedule a home visit, deliver your supplies, and make sure everything’s set for your foster pup. We’re with you every step of the way, so you’ll feel fully supported from the start!

Adopter FAQ

Adopting from Blazin' Trails is an exciting journey! After you submit your application, we’ll do a references and background check, then schedule a quick interview to get to know you and figure out what type of puppy will be the best fit. We want this to be a perfect match for you and the puppy!
Once that’s done, you’ll get to meet the puppies. You’ll see which puppy connects with you, and once you’ve found your match, we’ll finalize the adoption paperwork, go over everything with you, and you’ll pay the adoption fee. But it doesn’t stop there! We’re here with post-adoption support, offering tips on training, behavior, and health to make the transition smooth and easy for you and your new pup.
