Foster Opportunities
We offer several foster opportunities, each designed to fit different lifestyles and skill levels. Choose the type that works best for you:
Neonatal Specialists (Under 2 weeks)
Our most critical babies—those under 2 weeks old or requiring advanced care—go to neonatal specialists. These fosters have extensive experience and provide 24/7 care, including feedings, medical attention, and monitoring.
Bottle Baby Fosters (2-7 weeks)
Bottle babies require frequent feedings and care as they transition from bottle feeding to solid food. This type of fostering is ideal for stay-at-home or work-from-home individuals, especially retired nurses or anyone comfortable with providing hands-on, consistent care. You will care for no more than 3 puppies.
Big Kid Fosters (7 weeks to adoption)
At 7 weeks, puppies are separated from their siblings and are ready for more socialization and independence. Big kid fosters help start introducing potty training and crate training, while introducing puppies to new environments, people, and other pets. This role is perfect for families or individuals with other pets to help socialize the puppies.
