At Blazin’ Trails Bottle Babies, we specialize in the most delicate cases—newborn puppies with no mama, no safety, and no chance of survival without intensive human care. Every single day, we use a mountain of supplies to provide the warmth, nutrition, cleanliness, and enrichment these fragile lives need to thrive.

As we head into May, our shelves are running low. With over 30 puppies currently in foster care, we’re turning to our community to help us restock the items that make our work possible.

Puppy Formula: Their Only Lifeline

Bottle babies—puppies under 3 weeks old—can’t eat on their own, and they depend entirely on round-the-clock bottle feeding with specialized puppy formula.

We go through dozens of cans every week, and only high-quality, vet-recommended formula gives these babies the calories, hydration, and nutrients they need to survive and grow. Formula is our most critical item—without it, we simply cannot take in newborns.

Puppy Food: Fuel for Growing Bodies

Once puppies begin weaning, they transition to soft food and eventually dry kibble. This is when their nutritional needs are at their highest—supporting rapid growth, immune development, and bone formation.

We feed only premium puppy food designed to meet the demands of early development. With so many mouths to feed, we can go through an entire bag in just a couple of days!

 Pee Pads: Clean Puppies Are Healthy Puppies

Bottle-fed puppies can’t eliminate on their own at first—we help them go potty every few hours. And once they start walking, let’s just say… the potty messes multiply fast.

We use hundreds of pee pads every week to keep puppies dry, warm, and free from bacteria. Clean bedding and surfaces are essential to prevent infections and keep their environment safe—especially when they haven’t yet received vaccinations.

Toys: More Than Playtime

Toys may seem like a luxury—but for orphaned puppies, they’re a vital part of healthy development. Toys help build coordination, encourage socialization, reduce stress, and teach puppies how to play gently.

From soft plushies for comfort to teething toys for growing teeth, every toy we offer supports their emotional and physical well-being.
